Biography
Dr. Ulmen joined the Carroll University nursing department in the fall of 2021. She has over 24 years of nursing experience with a major focus in the trauma/emergency room setting. Dr. Ulmen has been working in higher education for over eight years. She has taught across the nursing curriculum, including clinical instruction, online teaching, and in the classroom for Traditional Undergraduate, BSN completion, and MSN students. Ulmen credits her mentors for helping her identify her passions and development in the nurse educator role and aspires to do the same for all her students.
